Effective Monday, November 14th at 11:30 a.m. EST, London Underwriters has lifted the new business Binding Moratorium in Florida Tri-County: Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

Please note that all binding requests for new business or increases in coverage to existing policies in the affected areas of Tropical Storm Nicole are subject to written verification of No Known Loss or Damage. Your Underwriter will work with you directly on any additional documentation that is needed to bind.

Binding Moratorium - Tropical Storm Nicole

Effective Monday, November 7th, 2022, London Underwriters issued a binding moratorium for all policies requiring windstorm coverage in Florida, Georgia & South Carolina.

The Moratorium applies to both Commercial and Residential lines property business requiring windstorm coverage, including but not limited to the following products: HO6, Commercial Property, Inland Marine, Cargo and Yachts.

This binding moratorium applies to new business and expired renewals, as well as new additions and/or exposure or limit increases to existing policies. We will communicate any further updates regarding this binding moratorium via email, social media and on our website.
